Vote Punapippuri now!
Punapippuri is a leftist list of candidates for the representative council for the student union elections. Punapippuri was established 2007 when we received one representative. In the year 2009 Punapippuri beacame the biggest political group of the council of the Student Union of the University of Lapland.
In the elections 2011 we have placed 21 candidates which is more than ever. In these elections we continue our work towards equal and mutually beneficial university where all student services are looked after and internationality is highly appreciated. We are your presentatives in these elections and after. Punapippuri promises to seek answers to the problems and challenges we are all facing. We intend to secure that LYY remains to be strong public corporation designed to support the students’ rights and to make sure that the students’ voice is heard everywhere at the university and in the surrounding society.
The elections for the student unions’ representative councils take place from Tuesday 1 to Wednesday 2 November. It is also possible to vote in advance. The dates for voting in advance are from Tuesday 25 to 26 October.
